Year 1

Introduction to Marketing
This course provides an overview of the theories and principles of marketing required for effective business practice. You will also earn a microcredential from IE Business School, Spain via Coursera for Campus.

Microeconomics
This course introduces economics while explaining how knowledge in economics is useful in understanding and managing business. You will also earn a microcredential from the University of Pennsylvania via Coursera for Campus.

Principles of Accounting
As the basic subject in the financial accounting courses series, the topics discussed are focused on the introduction to financial accounting, the accounting cycle, recording process and presentation of financial accounting. You will also earn a microcredential from the University of Virginia via Coursera for Campus.

Introduction to Business
This course will focus on business systems, business ethics, forms of business organisations, management processes, human resource management, Management Information System, international business and the future dimensions of business opportunities in a global economy. You will also earn a microcredential from University of California, Irvine via Coursera for Campus.

Business Communication
This course introduces components to help you understand the various aspects of business communications and acquire the skills of good business communications as demanded by employers. You will also earn a microcredential from Macquarie University via Coursera for Campus.

Introduction to Management

Human Resource Management

Business Mathematics
This subject will cover topics such as simple interest, promissory notes, trade discount and cash discount, retailing mathematics, instalment purchase, and sequences. You will also earn a microcredential from John Hopkins University via Coursera for Campus.

Global Business
This unit exposes you to business activities that cross national boundaries and the importance of developing a perspective that is uniquely international by understanding the environment within which it operates. You will also earn a microcredential from the University of Colorado Boulder via Coursera for Campus.  

Computer Application
Topics covered in this module are Windows Operating Environment and basic Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word (word processor), MS Excel (spreadsheet) and MS PowerPoint (presentation). You will also earn a microcredential from the University of Virginia via Coursera for Campus.

Mainstream English I
This course teaches language learning strategies and study skills, while enabling developing your reading, listening, and writing skills in an academic context.

Mainstream English II
Mainstream English II builds on, and further develops, the major aspects of reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar. You will get the chance to practice and integrate these skills in meaningful tasks relevant to an academic context. 

Year 2

Macroeconomics
This course explains the difference between micro economy and macro economy, identifies the role of the government in macro economy, and describes how the investment multiplier, government multiplier and tax multiplier can affect the equilibrium income and evaluate investment. Business Finance
This syllabus introduces you to finance, explaining its context and purpose with reference to qualitative characteristics of useful finance information, and to the fundamental bases of finance. E-Commerce
You will be introduced to key concepts of E-Commerce as an electronic business application. You will also earn a microcredential from Digital Marketing Institute via Coursera for Campus.

Principles and Practices of Selling
This course will provide you with exposure to the basic principles of selling, covering the techniques of effective sales presentation in the field. You will also get the opportunity to practice the application of these skills in relevant settings. You will also earn a microcredential from Northwestern University via Coursera for Campus.

Business Law This is the introductory course to the laws that managers must abide by while conducting business, and explores the legal framework designed to protect both consumers and businesses. It also outlines the legal environment in which businesses operate. 

Industrial Training Industrial training will cover mostly hands-on practical elements, which will be supervised by individuals from business-related organizations. You will undergo practical training in various fields to develop the necessary skills and experiences to support subsequent applications for future career prospectus.  

Privatisation in Malaysia This paper is intended to provide you with an overview of the privatisation process in Malaysia covering history, policy, reasons, success criteria, problems, challenges, and the future of privatisation in Malaysia. Case studies of privatisation are included for analysis. 

Community Service Project In this course, you will learn how to perform a community needs assessment, select a project, solidify financial and logistical plans, map the project, and detail the project plan so that you can implement a high-impact, well-managed project.

Year 3

Operations Management
This is an introduction to the concepts, principles, problems, and practices of operations management. Emphasis is on managerial processes for effective operations in both goods producing and service-rendering organization. You will also earn a microcredential from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign via Coursera for Campus.

Organisational Behaviour
This course covers topics such as social system, perceptual aspect, motivation, job satisfaction, leadership, contemporary theory, supervision, understanding interpersonal relations, groups stress management and change process. Information Technology in Business
This module gives an insight and understanding of how IT is embedded and utilised in business operation through an organization. You will also earn a microcredential from University of London via Coursera for Campus.

MPU Modules

Malaysian Studies / Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi 2

Malaysian Studies discusses Malaysian history and politics, the constitution, system and structure of national administration, society, national unity and development, and religious faiths. This course aims to produce graduates who will have a national identity and superior patriotism. Teaching and learning will be conducted in the form of lectures, assignments, exams and learning experiences. Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi 2 helps you communicate effectively in a formal/informal setting, building your confidence as you hone your interaction skills in the national language. 

Bahasa Kebangsaan A / People Skills / Entrepreneurship Skills

Bahasa Kebangsaan A helps a student to grasp the national language to effectively communicate, and express thoughts clearly and creatively through verbal and written communication.  People Skills focuses on honing your interpersonal communication, which is critical to your success in personal and work relationships. This includes social skills and emotional intelligence, effective interpersonal communication beginning with self-awareness and the development of emotional maturity necessary to remain calm and empathetic in routine as well as in difficult communication situations.
