Finance is a professionally oriented major designed to prepare you for a career in financial management which essentially is the art and science of managing money. This major concerns itself with the spending patterns of people, institutions, markets and even countries in the pursuit of generating wealth. Finance graduates will be knowledgeable about commercial and investment banking, investments, forecasting and budgeting, asset and liability management, money, stocks and bonds and how markets function.
